Herald Joins Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards Program

New York, NY, July 15, 2026 – Herald, an AI-enabled platform that helps commercial insurance brokerages execute their placement strategy at scale, today announced that it has joined the Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards program, an Insurtech incubator from Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE), the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.

“Placement is the messy middle of brokerage operations and the friction there shows up downstream as slow submissions, incomplete data, and missed opportunities for carriers,” said Matt Antoszyk, Co-Founder and CEO of Herald. “Joining the Insurtech Vanguards program lets us work directly with the Guidewire insurer community on the upstream side of that workflow. We are excited to show carriers how Herald’s Intelligent Placement System makes broker submissions cleaner, faster, and easier to underwrite.”

Insurtech Vanguards is a community of select startups and technology providers that are bringing novel solutions to the P&C industry. As part of the program, Guidewire provides strategic guidance to and advocates for the participating Insurtech’s, while connecting them with the Guidewire P&C customer community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Herald to the Insurtech Vanguards program,” said Laura Drabik, Chief Evangelist, Guidewire. “Herald’s Intelligent Placement System is changing how brokerages route and structure submissions to carriers and we are excited to introduce their work to our insurer community.”

Herald’s Intelligent Placement System guides every submission end-to-end across the placement lifecycle, through intake, marketing, quoting, proposal, bind, and issuance. The system is built on three layers: Babbix, Herald’s AI agent, which operates broker portals, drafts submission emails, and extracts quote data from email and documents with greater than 96% accuracy; the Placement Workbench, where brokers track and manage all submissions, quotes, and accounts in one place; and Core Data and Systems, which connects to CRM, AMS, data lakes, and carrier systems through AI email submission, agent-operated portals, and direct API connections.
